For us, it is not business, it is a way of life...

Our first 50 vines were planted in 2014 making us truly a micro hobby vineyard. The vineyard is located in an area with soils perfect for growing premium hybrid wine grapes. Soils rich in limestone and shale balanced with loams and clay provide good drainage and proper nutrients for growing grape vines. The Ranch is located on hills that slope gently from the north to the south, giving the vines the perfect exposure to the summer sun. Light afternoon winds blow through the vineyard providing excellent airflow through the canopy for proper ripening. All of these natural influences help create the perfect balance for growing quality grapes right here at the Miles Ranch.

We believe the very best wines consistently come from small family-owned estates where every grape is picked by hand for small-batch, handcrafted wines.

While we grow grapes and make wine as a hobby and for pesonal consumption only, we are not a commercial vineyard and winery.
